DEALING IN AND EXHIBITING ORIGINAL WORKS BY AUSTRALIA’S
MOST COLLECTIBLE YOUNG, MID-CAREER AND SENIOR ARTISTS.

Dickerson Gallery’s work ethic remains closely aligned with those maintained by the artists it represents. Over years of dedication to the arts industry, the Gallery, through a commitment to quality and productivity, has sought to nurture and encourage today’s emerging artists in the hope that they may well be amongst tomorrow’s most recognized Australian painters, print makers, photographers and sculptors.

Established in 1992, under the original name of ‘Queen Street Fine Art’, Dickerson Gallery Sydney continues to represent a finely selected group of emerging Australian artists. The Gallery has solo and group exhibitions held monthly with a diverse stockroom selection including paintings, photographs, sculpture, and works on paper. In addition to exhibiting original works by Australia’s most collectable young and mid-career artists, Dickerson Gallery Sydney also deals in work by notable senior Australian artists.

After successfully operating Dickerson Gallery Sydney for eight years, gallery director Sam Dickerson branched into the Melbourne market in 2000. Dickerson Gallery Melbourne became a popular inner city gallery with a strong client following for many of its local and interstate artists. In May 2010 the Melbourne Gallery held its final exhibition and closed the doors for the last time.

Dickerson Gallery Sydney continues to thrive and expand and is rapidly approaching 32 years at the same Sydney address – still showing the same commitment to emerging and collectable artists.
