Using tiny bones from deceased migratory birds coupled with steel, ceramic/porcelain, dark timber, and glass, Peter Tilley aligns his materials in a rhythmical/symmetrical manner to create intimately detailed assemblage pieces. The employment of dark and light hued materials combined with the fluid movement and clean lines of Tilley's constructed patterns, serves to create works of art that are imbued with a rare simplicity and natural beauty.
